    Ha – see your comparing a Motorola Ti280 when within a few months the Motorola A920 was available – what can the Iphone do that can’t, except make people want it!

    Since owning a 3G Iphone I do agree it’s an evolutionary device but can I handle the fact that a 6310i was actually a “better” phone that would act as a modem!!!

    All depends on your definition of “better” Gerry! The Ti280e was the first mobile I had that wasn’t a brick, and actually felt sleek. Somewhere out there, it’s still probably in use, as an efficient mobile.

    You have a point though – the iPhone isn’t the greatest pure “phone” I’ve ever owned, but to be honest, I don’t make a lot of calls on it these days…
